One of my closet-related goals for the remainder of this pregnancy is to get as much use as possible out of what I already own or sew what I need while keeping my shopping to a bare minimum. This is our last baby, and I don’t need to spend a bunch of money on maternity clothes I’ll never wear again!
I made this turquoise T-shirt dress to wear to a party a few weeks ago and, since then, I’ve been getting a TON of wear out of it. I remember worrying that the turquoise color would be too limiting and that I wouldn’t be able to find very many pieces in my closet to pair it with but, thus far, that hasn’t been the case at all. A T-shirt dress, regardless of color or pattern, is a super simple silhouette that makes for a versatile building-block in any wardrobe. It can be styled so many different ways! The best part is that whether it’s dressed up or down, it remains super comfortable and machine-washable (hallelujah). It’s a perfect piece for moms who want to look pulled-together while staying comfy and practical!
