7 Ways to Wear Winter Whites

I love the look of a white ensemble during the winter, but it can sometimes be harder to pull of than you might think. You don’t want to look like you’re wearing a summery outfit when it’s freezing outside, so today I want to share a few tips that will help you put together appropriately white outfits for the winter!

Click through for 7 ways to wear white in the winter, styled by a few of my favorite bloggers (and me!):

  • Use Cold Weather Accessories To Create A Seasonally Appropriate Look 1 of 7

A way to instantly make any color of clothing (summery or not) feel cold-weather appropriate is to add winter accessories. Anna, of See (Anna) Jane styles her white jeans and summery bag with furry winter boots and a pom pom hat!

  • Use Pattern To Break Up The Monotone 2 of 7

Throw in a subtle pattern to break up all the white, like I did on my blog!

  • Pair With Pastels 3 of 7

Cori, of Dress Corilynn, styles her fabulous white tulle skirt (which she makes herself and sells in her gorgeous shop!) and white heels with pastels to give it a splash of subtle color that's on-trend for winter. She also adds a swipe of dark lipstick to complete the wintery look.

  • Don’t Forget Your Tights! 4 of 7

Brown tights with warm hued shoes and bag styled by Rach from Pink Peonies makes a white skirt and sweater perfectly cold weather appropriate!

  • Keep Your Accessories Simple 5 of 7

Sometimes it's easy to overdo winter whites. Instead of going overboard, try a patterned belt and bag, and a pair of simple heels, like Caitlin from A Little Dash of Darling did.

  • Go For The Gray! 6 of 7

Gray and white make a perfect icy combination for winter. Kimberly from Penny Pincher Fashion makes a pair of white trousers appropriate for winter with a textured gray sweater, and then adds some color with a pastel blue bag!

  • Texturize Your Entire Outfit 7 of 7

One of the best ways to wear all white is to play with textures. Rach from Pink Peonies combined chiffon, sequins, and fur to make a breathtaking snow queen-esque evening ensemble.
