Fashion Collaborations Were Looking Forward to in 2014

I often have expensive taste in fashion, at least when it comes to window shopping and what I’m drawn to on Pinterest. I have never spent $500 on a pair of shoes or a purse, so this is purely dream shopping. But once in a blue moon some of my favorite designers collaborate with stores I actually do shop at, and I get a taste of high-end fashion on a shoestring budget. There are some absolutely incredible fashion collaborations coming up in 2014, and I am over the moon!

Here are the ones I’m most looking forward to, and you should be, too!

  • Peter Pilotto for Target 1 of 5

Target always nails the fashion designer collaborations, and this one is no exception. Peter Pilotto designed 70 pieces in his signature digital prints — all of which are perfect for spring and beyond. The collection features bright florals, lots of black, fun swimwear and more!

Available now. See the full collection at Target.

  • Kate Moss for Topshop 2 of 5

Kate is back after a long hiatus and is releasing a collection of 40 pieces, including accessories and footwear. I have yet to see a preview of the collection but I can almost guarantee it'll be nothing short of perfect. If her collections in the past are any indication of what the new one will be like you might want to just hand over your credit card right now.

The collection is coming April 2014. You can find more info on the Topshop website.

  • Sarah Jessica Parker for Nordstrom 3 of 5

The actress most famously known for her role on Sex and the City has designed a collection of shoes, bags, and even a coat for Nordstrom. The SJP collaboration is full of strappy stilettos in fun colors, sure to bring out your inner Carrie Bradshaw. Her hope with the collection was to design timeless pieces that women could wear for years to come!

The collection launches February 28 at Nordstrom.

  • Vivienne Westwood for ASOS 4 of 5

The famous red-haired designer has teamed up with ASOS to offer a new line of bags that are handmade in Africa. The collection features totes, backpacks and duffle bags in her signature fun prints. Prices start at $100, making them a really affordable ethical option!

Available now. See the full collection on ASOS.

  • Sophia Webster for J.Crew 5 of 5

The ever amazing footwear designer is partnering up with J.Crew for a spring/summer shoe collection that is sure to knock your socks off! Known for her wacky but sophisticated designs, this is a dream collaboration for people like myself who have been wanting for a pair but wouldn't ever pay the $1,000+ price tag!

You can read more about the collaboration and see a preview on the J.Crew blog. Available spring/summer 2014.
