  • With a Camel Top 2 of 25

Any type of cobalt bottoms will work with this outfit. Try a skirt, pants, or shorts with lots of camel and beige tones. Then add a statement necklace that pulls it all together.

  • With Lime and Mustard 3 of 25

Cobalt really pops when paired with citrus colors like lime, mustard, and even a little dash of turquoise.

  • With Coral and Red 4 of 25

Try pairing cobalt with primary colors. A slightly orange shirt lessens the contrast between the blue, red and yellow. And neutral shoes keep the focus on the brighter pieces up top.

  • With a Tuxedo Blazer 5 of 25

Black, white and cobalt is a great color combo I can't get enough of. Try a tuxedo blazer, or black and white stripes for a striking contrast.

  • With Hot Pink and Yellow 6 of 25

Go bold with cobalt by pairing it with a hot pink top, mustard cardigan, and shoes.

  • With a Tribal Skirt 7 of 25

A silk cobalt tank is the perfect topper for a patterned skirt in the summer.

  • With Electric Blue and Turquoise 8 of 25

This skirt is a brighter cobalt than it appears in this particular photo. The muted turquoise and blues paired with the cobalt skirt reminds me of the ocean and is a great way to get creative with your pencil skirts.

  • With Leopard Accessories 9 of 25

This outfit was inspired by a catalog photo. Try your cobalt bottoms with a pea green cardigan, striped collared shirt, and leopard accents for an easy outfit.

  • With Mint Jeans 10 of 25

Pair your cobalt blazer (or cardigan) with mint jeans, and pull it all together with nude and soft yellow pieces.

  • With Polka Dots 11 of 25

A polka dot shirt and cap toe flats are the perfect fun pieces to wear with cobalt jeans.

  • With Dalmatian Print 12 of 25

I'm wearing a Dalmatian dress under a skirt here. Another example of how easily black and white graphics pair with cobalt.

  • With a Pencil Skirt 13 of 25

Cobalt and mustard are a go-to combination for me, and it looks great grounded with a navy pencil skirt, or even blue jeans.

  • With Purple Patterns 14 of 25

Try cobalt with any shade of purple, including a pretty watercolor print like this one.

  • With Blue and Turquoise 15 of 25

This is the fun, going out version of the pencil skirt outfit I shared earlier. I would wear this to lunch or running errands on a blazing hot summer day.

  • With a Mustard Sweater 16 of 25

We've established that cobalt goes great with mustard. It also goes great with leopard. So why not mix the three together?

  • With Ivory Jeans 17 of 25

Cobalt has an island vibe when paired with ivory jeans and a tropical print.

  • With Soft Seafoam 18 of 25

Cobalt plays nicely with any shade of blue — from the softest seafoam to an electric blue belt. You could also wear it with nude shoes instead.

  • With Feather Necklaces 19 of 25

Cobalt gets a festival vibe when paired with long feather necklaces, casual sandals, and a bold purse.

  • With Stripes 20 of 25

A cobalt blazer with a cobalt striped shirt is an easy pairing. Try it with jeans, or with a bright yellow skirt and orange necklace.

  • With Primary Colors 21 of 25

There's so much color in this look. I love a bold red, yellow and blue outfit and you could always tone it down by replacing the shoes and/or purse with a neutral.

  • With a Leopard Top 22 of 25

One of my favorite outfits from a couple years ago. Cobalt is a win when paired with leopard and everything camel.

  • With Geometric Prints 23 of 25

Geometric prints pop under a cobalt blazer, and the ankle strap shoes bring it all together.

  • With a Camel Sweater 24 of 25

Navy stripes, camel accents, and a cobalt top? Yes, please!

  • With Peach and Orange 25 of 25

Last but not least — I'm not sure I love the ladylike top with the masculine shoes as much as I did a few years ago, but I do love the idea of wearing peach and orange with cobalt. Give it a try at home!
