7 Sweet Summer TreatsDanielle
Because it sure has been hot here!
I have been looking for fun snacks and treats to help the kids cool down during the hot days we have been having. Of course there is the health factor and making sure they aren’t living on junk food and sweets all summer long as well.
Honestly though, as long as you have treats in moderation, there really is nothing wrong with fun foods every once in awhile. At least that is how I look at it.
I took to Pinterest to find some awesome treats the kids would find exciting, unique, and fun. Which isn’t very hard when you are looking for food to amuse a toddler. I think Pinterest has something for everyone these days!
Jell-O Jigglers in Mega Blocks 1 of 7What a neat idea! Who would have ever thought to use old Duplo's and Mega Blocks to make fun shaped Jell-O treats for the kids?
The Banana Dog 2 of 7Skip the hot dogs and use the roll for a great lunch time alternative!
Instead of the boring peanut butter and banana on bread, make it on a hot dog roll!

Ice Cream Cone Fruit Cups 3 of 7Does your toddler love fruit? Mine do, and they would both eat it by the case load if they could.
This is a cute and new way to serve up some fruit and bribe them to skip the ice cream to fill the ice cream cone!

Healthy Fishing 4 of 7Genius snack idea! Celery, peanut butter and Goldfish -- all foods my toddlers love. Although it is more appropriate for older toddlers!

Fruit Tree Snack 5 of 7Another great light fruit snack. Simple with oranges, bananas and kiwi. Just some fancy arranging on a plate and it brings snack time to another level!
Watermelon Cookies 6 of 7Are they watermelon? Are they cookies? Who knows but your toddler will have a blast figuring it out!
