From the first time my little ones laid eyes on this movie, they were hooked. I couldn’t peel them away. Not that I tried, why would I?! Popping this in the DVD player guarantees me some precious time. Time for me, or in reality – get something done around the house or prep a meal.
Quirky alternative musicians, They Might Be Giants, star in this untraditional, awesomely animated, live-action, puppeteer musical video for kids. Think old school Sesame Street, with a geeky, border-line hipster appeal.
If your toddlers are like mine, they are more than slightly obsessed with the alphabet and this little feature is just weirdly imaginative enough to keep them engaged from start to finish. You’ll find yourself watching, quite amused.
All of the songs must be easy for young minds to memorize, because my 3 year old runs around the house singing them at the top of his lungs. Major cute factor. We’re fans of quality TV around here, Sponge Bob and the like can kiss my grits.
There’s not much more harping that I can do about the quality and goodness of this little production – so you’ll just have to take our words for it – this is a must for your DVD library. You can find on the holy grail of the internets (Amazon). This post has been A&W approved. (Way more good for you than the fast food chain).
