8 Gifts That Even the Pickiest Toddlers Will Love

babble_giftguide_toddlerThe toddler years are when the holidays really start to get fun! They love the excitement of tearing off wrapping paper, but even better? The magic that comes with the post-unwrapping play. All the gifts on this list are ones that are sure to have them excited, from big gifts to small ones — these will spark imagination, creativity, and fun!

1. B. Meowsic Keyboard

Toddlers LOVE this “cat piano” as it has so lovingly been dubbed in our home. It’s literally the first thing the kids race for and the one toy we have to help them take turns with since it’s such a fan favorite. Your kid will seriously love it … though I will say I’ve definitely gotten the songs stuck in my head from time to time
Available now at Target, $27.99

2. EverEarth Workbench

This is a great starter workbench for toddlers. We have this in our house and its always a fan favorite during playdates. It’s great for building fine motor skills and helping your little one feel involved when mom or dad are doing projects around the house with “grown-up tools.”

3. Calico Critters

Toddlers are big fans of little figurines and Calico Critters are all the rage these days. These were my favorite when I was a kid, so they definitely have a nostalgic feel for me, which is always a plus when buying gifts. It’s really fun to pass down favorites to our little ones.

Available not at International Playthings LLC , $22.95

4. “Hold My Hand” Singing Minnie Mouse

Little ones are smitten with Miss Mouse and this one is so much fun. Hold her hands and sing along together. It’s great entertainment for a little one who loves singing and all things Disney.

5. Joovy Bicycoo

The quintessential bike under the Christmas tree — and it’s a beauty. We have this balance bike and they’re great for toddlers to prepare them for riding a “big kid bike” one day. It’s more sleek than some of the wooden balance bike options out there and much more lightweight. My toddler can pick up and carry this bike easily all by herself.
Available now at Toys “R” Us, $129.99

6. KidKraft Vintage Kitchen

Every toddler needs a play kitchen and this one is definitely easy on the eyes and less expensive than some of the other attractive options I’ve found. We have a play kitchen and since we chose one with a simple white and wood color scheme it fits in nicely with our decor and is able to be left out in a nook in our kitchen. My daughter loves “cooking” in her kitchen while I’m making dinner. It’s a great way to have her feel included and keeps her entertained and from hanging out underfoot.
Available now at Yoyo, $149.99

7. Fisher Price Little People A to Z Learning Zoo

This is a super fun, interactive toy that will teach toddler letters and animals and the sounds that both make. Every time toddlers push a letter it will make the sound that letter makes or the sound the coordinating animal makes. It’s so much fun, while facilitating learning at the same time. A win-win!
Available now at Fisher Price , $70

8. LEGO My First Duplo Set

A lifetime of LEGO love starts here with the basics.
