June marks the end of the school year and the beginning of the summer, which means that my daughter, Mazzy had her very last day of Toddler Transitions class this month.
Toddler Transitions is for kids born later in the year, who didn’t make the two-year-old preschool cut back in September. Mazzy went two days a week from 9am to 11:30am.
She absolutely loved it.
Her teachers, her friends, the art exploration, the learning, the play, everything.
I know she doesn’t really understand what the end of something means and I wonder whether she will ask in a few weeks why she doesn’t attend school anymore.
But she’s two and the end of school probably isn’t as big of a deal as it is to say— a high school senior.
With that in mind, I made a yearbook of preschool pictures submitted by readers on my facebook fanpage. I gave them all superlatives like “Best Dressed”, “Biggest Heartbreaker”, and “Most Likely to Be Mortified by her Mother’s Blog”— that would be Mazzy, of course.
