Dr. Seuss Hits the High Seas with Carnival

Partnerships are awesome, especially in the travel sphere! Just last week, Carnival Cruise Lines made an announcement that will get family travelers, cruisers, and Dr. Seuss fans super excited. Dr. Seuss Enterprises will be bringing their children’s brand to Carnival’s fleet of 24 “Fun Ships!” There are all sorts of surprises and exciting activities, meal and character interactions that you can look forward to!

First off, every ship in the Carnival fleet will offer a wide selection of classic Dr. Seuss toys, books, and activities for kids. Special movie showings of films, such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Cat in the Hat, will by shown outside on the giant screen of the Seaside Theater on the Lido Deck as one of the options for Carnival’s Dive-in Movies programming.

They also announced that Carnival Freedom is in the middle of a major refurbishment and it, as well as the Carnival Vista (debuting early 2016) ,will offer all of the Dr. Seuss features which I will touch on in just a moment. The fact that Carnival is adding to their children’s activities in such a big way is refreshing as they currently carry over 700,000 children on board each and every year. That’s nearly half of the total amount of kids who cruise each year in the North American cruise industry.

Curious as to what else this Dr. Seuss partnership will include? Click through to find out!
