There are so many Father’s Day trip and travel ideas out there as well as several fun packages geared towards the most important guy in your life. My husband will be getting his a couple of weeks after Father’s Day, not that he minds much. Travel is one of his favourite things, so any excuse to skip off for a few days and he’s game!
I know men that thrive on guy’s weekend getaways, others that adore their golf and some that prefer watching a sports game to anything else in the world. My husband is neither of those and prefers to vacation with his family over any other trip.

Daytona Beach 2 of 16
Daytona Beach is a great destination for families an was recently named as one of the Travel Channel's manliest beaches in America. Why, you ask? Besides offering 23 miles of shoreline, making it ideal for water sports and deep-sea fishing, Daytona is also home to NASCAR's most famous race and some of the very best golf courses in the country, including the LPGA International (home course of the LPGA Tour since 1994). This Father's Day weekend, look forward to the two-day P1 SuperStock powerboat racing series which runs June 15-16.

Disney Cruise Line is great for multi-generational families and children of all ages, so this is definitely a good idea if you are planning a family getaway. If your dad likes his bourbon, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail experience is bar-none. Visitors are taken on a tour that gives them a first-hand look at the art and science of crafting Bourbon as well as the history behind the spirit. Since they launched this tour back in 1999, they've received over 2.5 million visitors from over 25 countries who have all come down to learn and taste the world-famous Bourbon. While you're there be sure to check out the restaurants and bakeries who use bourbon in their delicious masterpieces.

Croatia is situated on the Adriatic Sea just east of Italy. Pipeline in Oahu is the big daddy of all surf waves and one of the heaviest in the world. A sight to see and experience only if you're a highly experienced surfer.
