Spending July 4th At Disney? A Look At The Surprises In Store All Week!

Spending July 4th at Disney? Forget the one day celebration, Disney is celebrating the fourth in a big, big way! If you’re heading to Walt Disney World Resort this week, you’ll be able to choose any day from July 1-7 to experience the patriotic spirit of the holiday. This is just a taste of Disney’s Limited Time Magic.

Each and every night, guests will be treated to a 14-minute fireworks spectacular above Cinderella Castle with “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.” The song is a new one that has a concert band style to add a real traditional feel. If you’ve ever experienced Disney’s fireworks, you already know this one is going to be oh so special! The “Fourth of July Concert in the Sky,” will take place at 9 p.m. on July 3 and 4, and 10 p.m. on July 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7.

Goofy, Donald and Pluto will take part in a new pre-show before the “Celebrate a Dream Come True” Parade each and every day. There will be treats offered throughout the park as well, so be sure to stop by Magic Kingdom StoryBook Treats at Magic Kingdom for a delicious serving of Red, White and Blue Strawberry Shortcake, or head to the other parks for a Fourth of July Cupcake stuffed with apple pie filling, caramel buttercream and apple crisp topping. And psst… Epcot will have a special Skillet-baked Peach Cobbler with vanilla whipped cream and a Red, White and Blue “Baked Alaska” Mousse.

And that’s just Walt Disney World! Disneyland will also have an ongoing celebration with treats to enjoy, so if California is on the agenda for next week, be sure to head to Carnation Café for the Red, White and Blue Mason Jar Desserts, they sound amazing!

Both Walt Disney World and Disneyland will have all sorts of American Disney merchandise for purchase throughout the week, so be sure to pick up your star-spangled souvenirs!
