Do you have parents, grandparents, children, or friends who don’t use social networks? Like anyone, I do too — my mother and father, for example — they miss the constant stream of posts, likes, and uploaded photos on my social network pages, which has made sharing photos and daily news more difficult since I graduated college, moved away to southern California and started working as a Disneyland Cast Member.
Not everybody uses social media outlets, which mean all that time I pour into creating a stellar Facebook album or Twitter stream is unfortunately lost on certain friends and family members.
I recently discovered Story App, though. It’s a great way to story-tell experiences, whether its a wonderful vacation or a simple afternoon at the park with your kids — or most often for me, a day working at Disneyland. It’s a really easy way to share photos and videos in a creative, customizable format. Also — once the app is downloaded, it’s amazingly fast and easy to use.
When you give the app access to your photos, it immediately sorts them by date and location, making it easy to weave together the stories of your life into an interactive experience with very little effort.
I love using Story to share my Disney adventures, from touring The Walt Disney Studios to showcasing my favorite dishes at the Disneyland Resort to going on adventures with my friends. The blank-slate format makes it easy to tell a story for one specific experience, or something as broad as a months-long adventure. You, the user, are the storyteller, and how you choose to share your experiences is up to you.
Take a look at this Story, which I made in less than 10 minutes on my iPhone!
